    19th Century Ginori Hand Painted Green & Gold Leaves & Beads Porcelain Inkwell

    Antique porcelain inkwell. The lid and inkwell are decorated with a band of green and gold leaves. The inkwell has a band of hand painted beads above an below. Gold gilding along the edge. Marked with a gold star used by Ginori. The mark is post 1820. This was probably made around 1830 to 1840s.
    Has some wear to the gilding. A section of the edge of the inkwell has been broken out at one time, repaired and overpainted. The finial on the lid has also been repaired.
    Measures approximately 4 3/8 inches wide x 2 inches tall.
    This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
